The Founder:
After Graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2002 with a degree in Psychology, I began working in finance as a financial planner. With my experience as a Peer Adviser (RA) and my connection to the University, I decided to buy a house nearby and share it with my college friends.
I grew up working at my Father's construction company and as a result took an interest in remodeling and improving my newly acquired asset. Eventually my friends graduated, got jobs, or got married... in which case, we needed to develop a system to prospect, screen, and recruit new roommates.
Through trial and error (as well as some funny roommate situations along the way), we began to get the hang of things when my neighbor had approached me about purchasing his house. After discussing things with my family, I decided to move forward with my 'idea' of starting a community based upon the principles of fairness and equality.

With the help of friends, family, and the community "The Gentlemen's Fight Club" (later known as the GFC) was born. Its namesake was derived from concepts written about by authors like Miguel de Cervantes, Alexandre Dumas, and Chuck Palahniuk.
I discovered that in order to attract attention from qualified prospects, I needed the community to share similar interests. Interests such as Boxing, Literature, Music, Art, Culture, and Philosophy.
The idea behind the GFC is that regardless of Race, Religion, Orientation, or Wealth… We’re all the Same! No One is Special. We can respect one another through the mutual understanding that we’re all in this World together!
When one person fails, we’re all affected. When one succeeds, We ALL Win!
